Looking back, wondering which application of digital certificates will be more important, I have the feeling the future will show that:
- web pages will lose relevance due to extensive data collection, reducing them to entertainment,
whereas
- contract signing is more likely to retain its relevance, but perhaps subsumed under the blockchain.
